I am a life coach, workshop facilitator, corporate trainer and training consultant with 15+ years of experience. I believe that human potential is best expressed with the alliance of the physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects of life. My passion is helping people realize and reach their dreams!
My background is in human development. I earned my BA in Psychology from Clark University, my Certificate in HR Training & Development from UC Berkeley Extension, and my Certificate in Consulting Skills through Association for Talent Development. I completed the Co-Active Coaching program through The Coaches Training Institute.
Creativity is important to me. I enjoy creating art and have studied drawing, painting, and performance arts through various classes at The Richmond Art Center, Albion Schoole of Defense, The Crucible, UC Berkeley Extension. and Marin Art School.
In 1991 I attended a 10-day silent retreat at Wat Suan Mokkh in Chaiya, Thailand. The Venerable Ajahn Buddhadasa presided over the teachings of Annapanasiti (mindfulness with breathing) and Therevada Buddhism. It was there that I “came home.” I started meditating at 14 but this was my first chosen spiritual community. Anyone who has eaten with me will know of the Food Reflection I say as a part of every meal ever since.
I believe each of us is an integral part of the world, existing in concert with all life. The physical body must be in balance to remain healthy. To that end, I am an advocate for a plant-based diet and practice many types yoga regularly. I highly recommend a balance of rest, exercise, good nutrition, mental stimulation, and challenge to support yourself in a happy, healthy, and productive life.
